Kilo von Marburg is a beautiful 3 year old long haired German Shepherd. (maybe with a touch of something else).  Kilo absolutely adores his people, he is ALL in once he knows you. He lived in a family with other dogs but was given up because of landlord issues.  With new people at the rescue, he is low key and reserved. Spend some quality time with him and he'll roll over and give you his paw, demonstrating his trust and affection. When he sees his favorite people at the rescue, he lights up, smiling and wagging. Smart, soulful, and on the calmer side, Kilo is housebroken and knows his "Sit" and "Down" commands.  He walks well on leash, starting off calmly and staying focused on his handler, even when walking alongside other dogs. In playgroups, he prefers mingling with his favorite people rather than engaging deeply with furry playmates, though he greets other dogs well and simply avoids the pushy ones. With a passing grade for cats, he is ready to bring his calm, loyal and loving spirit to a forever home. Kilo bonds deeply with his person, so someone home a lot would be preferred.
